Sticky Fingers Bakery
/// About Sticky Fingers Bakery ///
Sticky Fingers Bakery is run by self taught baker Hayley McKee. Her creations have been commissioned by Frankie Magazine, Lanie Lane, ABC Radio, Warner Brothers Music, The Australian Ballet, Malthouse Theatre and WestSpace Gallery.
Her treats have popped up at popular fashion events including Romance Was Born x Alice Euphemia and in fashion collaborations with cult labels Trophy Wife Nail Art and by request for Alice McCall.
She’s been praised by the press; featured in international editions of Harpers Bazaar, Vogue, Rookie, The Collective and I Heart and more locally down under in the The Age, Broadsheet, The Thousands, Frankie, The Blackmail, Yen and Home & Garden. You can even see a prized cake in Beci Orpin’s ‘Find & Keep’ book.
Combining flavours in thoughtful and surprising ways, her resultant sweet things are made from ingredients sourced at local markets, obscure grocery stores, homegrown herbs and at times, edible native plants. They are fashioned into detailed rustic creations, layered with creamy icing and flavour-packed fillings.
