Please join pyschologist Dr Sue Hawkins as our next guest on our Meet the Expert Series.

Dr Sue Hawkins is a registered psychologist and sensorimotor psychotherapist in Private practice in Randwick. She started her career as a research scientist, completing her Ph.D in the area of immunology and genetics and then doing post doctoral studies in cancer research. A career change led her to study genetic counselling and she worked as a project officer with AGSA ( now Genetic Alliance). She then completed her training as a psychologist and worked for Anglicare Adoptions and Relationships Australia. She then moved to into the area of infertility working as a fertility counsellor for IVFAustralia. She also completed her training in sensorimotor psychotherapy, which is a somatic based therapeutic method. For the past 10 years she has been in private practice. Her areas of specialisation include; genetic issues, infertility, gamete donations d surrogacy, trauma and couples counselling
