About this event

Please join SWAN SA members for a relaxed morning tea in the park. Share laughs, information and stories with other SWAN Members in recognition of our 10th Birthday and Undiagnosed Children's Awareness Day (UCAD).

The main objective of Undiagnosed Children's Awareness (UCAD) is to bring families together and to raise awareness amongst the wider community and decision-makers about the large numbers of families living without a diagnosis for their child. We are excited to celebrate our 10 year birthday alongside this important annual occasion.

Would you like to feature in SWAN's birthday card? We are looking for photos of SWAN children/families, and birthday-themed drawings by SWAN children/siblings. Please email your photos and drawings to Ant (ant@swanaus.org.au) and attach the following photo consent form so we can post the birthday card on our website and social media platforms.

SWAN will provide refreshments, but please feel free to bring your own snacks too (we know kids can be fussy!). To protect children with allergies, we strongly discourage nuts. BYO picnic rug, hat and sunscreen.

SWAN mums Julie and Cathy-Jo will be your hosts for this event. We need a minimum of 3 families for this event to go ahead.

SWAN is non-for-profit and receives no ongoing funding. If you have the means to wish SWAN a Happy Birthday, we would be incredibly grateful for a donation of any size for our birthday fund to allow us to support more SWAN families.

RSVP by Friday 14 October 2022 by registering for a ticket. Please ensure to list any dietary requirements.

*Please note there will be no official first aid at the event, so your children are your responsibility. Please be mindful of others and wear a face mask if you can. You may also want to consider doing a RAT test prior to attending this event.
