Sustainable Style Workshop and Clothes Swap

By City of Stirling

Overview

Learn how to dress your personal style sustainably and mindfully with the Style Counsellor. Then refresh your wardrobe at our Clothes Swap.

Join us for an afternoon with 'The Style Counsellor' Ciara Lowe-Thiedeman, followed by a Clothes Swap event.

Ciara Lowe-Thiedeman is a London-trained, award winning personal stylist and owner at ‘The Style Counsellor’. As a sustainability and mental-health activist, she is shaking up the world of sustainable personal style and changing lives all over Perth.

  • Ciara will teach you how to become sustainably stylish so you can buy less, buy better, look better and do better.
  • Hear her update on Summer/ Autumn 2026 upcoming trends and how to recreate these sustainably.
  • Learn tips to dress trans-seasonally and how to get more bang for your buck, using what you already own.

With Australia now the second highest consumer of textiles in the world, this is a great opportunity to learn how to make an impact by re-thinking and reducing textile waste.

Clothes Swap

Bring along the items from your wardrobe that you no longer wear (the ‘lurkers’) which you are proud to pass on. Swap them for preloved, new-to-you items (the ‘workers’) to refresh your wardrobe sustainably. Ciara will be on hand to help guide you on your personal style journey as you shop the swap.

See FAQs for details on items accepted for donation into the Clothes Swap.

Please note this is a ticketed event, all attendees must register. There will be no entry without a registered ticket.
