Event description
Renting? Want to know what you can do to create the comfortable, efficient home you've always wanted?

About this Event

The second in the Green Living Centre's two free workshops aimed at supporting residents in the Inner West Council area who live in rented accommodation and who would like to adopt actions to live more sustainably.

You will learn how to make your rental home more comfortable and liveable by using less water and energy, creating less waste and saving money on your bills. Learn tips that can be done at low or no cost, or through simple changes in your everyday behaviour. Each session will include practical activities.

Session 1, Thursday 31 October (6-8pm): Energy basics and renewable energy options for renters, presented as part of Inner West Council's Our Energy Future program.

Session 2, Thursday 7 November (6-8pm): Food and other waste avoidance, small space gardening, water saving, green cleaning and active transport options.

It is preferable that you attend both sessions. This is Part 2, please book into Part 1, which is listed as a separate event.

As numbers are limited, this workshop is only available to residents of Inner West Council area. If you are from out of area please email education@greenlivingcentre.org.au to be put on a waitlist.
