Event description
Developing Sustainability Reporting and Partnership in the Indo-pacific region for achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

About this Event

Corporate sustainability has grown into a central area of development for every nation in pursuit of the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals UN United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The rapid economic and industry development in the Indo-pacific region has placed enormous pressures on the environment and society in the region, especially in Australia and Indonesia, two significant and large countries in the region. Developing a common understanding and sharing respective research and practical experience of business responsibility will constitute an essential step towards achieving regional SDGs. This symposium focuses on exchanging and disseminating recent research findings and ideas developed from several collaborative projects with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and industry partners. It provides opportunities for academics to engage and communicate with industry practitioners, and to debate and find solutions for business sustainability and regional sustainable development.
