Overview

A two hour workshop to teach you how to make amazing gluten free bread.

Learn how to make gluten free bread so good that it'll make you say "are you sure there's no gluten in this?" You will bake two gluten free loaves - a classic baker's yeast loaf and a sourdough loaf - 100% gluten free.

Everyone will leave with a brown-rice sourdough starter, recipes and the confidence to bake a great gluten free loaf at home.

What you will learn:

  • gluten-free flour blends
  • tips and tricks on cooking the perfect loaf at home
  • brown rice sourdough basics and care
  • bread making equipment and tools
  • many bread related dad jokes.

This initiative is a joint project between the City of Tea Tree Gully and Preventive Health SA. Sessions are currently being subsidised though the Preventive Health SA Wellbeing Hub grant.
