Christmas can be an expensive time with lots of leftovers and waste! Come along to this workshop to get some great ideas on how to have a more Sustainable Christmas. MCSL & Camden Boomerang Bags will cover:

Giftwrappinglearn about Furoshiki gift wrapping, the art of wrapping gifts with reusable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly cloth – it’s easy and beautiful. No sticky tape, single-use plastic or paper necessary. You can also use Boomerang Bags for wrapping gifts or as gifts.

Buying Gifts & Alternative Gift Ideasconsider packaging when shopping and using reuseable shopping bags. There’ll also be a range of plastic tree items on display and available for sale including ONYA products, and locally made beeswax wraps & preserves

Reduce Food & Catering Wastelearn some great tips for reducing food waste and sourcing reuseable or biodegradable plates & platters and other plastic free & storage options

How to dispose of Xmas Waste & Leftoversand when all the feasting & celebrations are over, a reminder of how to deal with waste types & recycling options

(If you have a scarf, bring it along to practice wrapping one of your Christmas gifts)
