Join us to look around Coburg Children's Centre and hear about their sustainability journey and participate in a practical mosaic workshop while networking with like minded colleagues.

In this workshop participants will explore ideas around using what’s available to create meaningful art and how to use mosaic as a technique for exploring combinations of diverse materials. Participants will create a unique mosaic piece to take home using reclaimed, found, donated and recycled materials. The recommendations for making mosaic with young children will be explored with examples.

The workshop will also cover mosaic design, how to source materials, how to effectively combine materials for interesting textural effects as well using adhesives and tools. A selection of objects and surfaces to work on will be provided. Participants are invited to bring any broken china to contribute.
