Description

The event will commence by a presentation by Dr. Kaushik Sridhar, followed by the current La Trobe Accelerator Program cohort presenting themselves and their start-up. After these presentations, light refreshments will be provided giving an opportunity to network.

Dr. Kaushik Sridhar is the Corporate Citizenship Manager for KPMG Australia, Board Member at Bioregional Australia, and Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Melbourne and RMIT. He has spent the last ten years working across various industries in business development, environmental management, sustainability research, sustainability reporting, sustainability assurance and sustainability advisory roles. At KPMG he is responsible for managing and driving KPMG’s climate change and sustainability strategy, initiatives and partnerships across Australia, has oversight across Indigenous programs, and is also the lead on designing and communicating the firm’s corporate citizenship (“CC”) activities and various initiatives internally and externally through a broad range of media channels. He also currently manages the firm’s $6.5 million pro bono program. Prior to joining KPMG, Kaushik has worked at EY, Net Balance, Macquarie University and Unisys Australia where he managed projects in areas including sustainability assurance, sustainability strategy and reporting, data management, sustainability research and stakeholder engagement. Kaushik is a PhD and MBA graduate from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management. He has published over 30 academic and professional papers/articles on sustainability in international peer-reviewed journals as well as presented academic papers at international management conferences in Auckland, Bangkok, Melbourne, Paris and Sydney.
