Event description

Description

Projects, often labeled as exciting opportunities to deliver meaningful change in our organisations, often come with a less exciting reality.

Politics!

Delivering in a politically charged environment can be like trying to survive the hunger games. Many of us have been nominated to lead our projects but it often feels like everyone is out to get us too!

At its worst politics can feel intimidating, stressful, and very personal. It invokes emotions that make us want to either fight or flight when neither do our projects or careers any favours.

So what can we do?

Surviving Project Politics is a half-day workshop designed to understand what politics is, how to navigate and most importantly survive it. It's about acknowledging that, while we'd love the politics to go away, that this utopia doesn't exist.

If you are looking for tools and techniques to help you survive project politics, want to move from having token support of your stakeholders to being influential and trusted, then Surviving Project Politics is for you!
