Synopsis: Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) is a secure web-based database application maintained by the University of Sydney. It is ideal for collecting and managing participant data and administering online surveys, with features supporting longitudinal data collection, complex team workflows and exports to a range of statistical analysis programs. In this training we will cover:

  • How to enable surveys in your REDCap projects
  • How to work with multiple surveys within a project
  • How to distribute surveys

Target audience: Students and staff who will be conducting data collection through surveys at the University of Sydney.

Essential pre-requisites: Introduction to REDCap

This training is for University of Sydney students, staff, and affiliates ONLY. Please register using your University email address. If you are a collaborator of a University researcher, please contact us in addition to registering on Eventbrite. Any registrations or participants logged into Zoom which are not @sydney.edu.au or @uni.sydney.edu.au (or any other USYD variation) and have not organised prior permission will be removed.
