Event description
This is a day to support and empower women and girls who are in need of support with personal items, like bras, underwear and toiletries.

About this Event

Our Mission

Humanity is one family bound together in common destiny. Our aim is to contribute to the foundation of a new social order for disenfranchised and isolated women, and the communities in which they live in by providing a safe space for conversation. Together we can create a global society.

Covid-19 Regulations

To ensure that we can protect you and our volunteers we have strict Covid-19 safety protocols in place. Every single person entering the the hall including our volunteers will be temperature tested and asked some general health questions. Morning tea will look slightly different due to Covid rulings. Your morning tea will be packed in individual tubs for your safety. You will be issued with a bio degradable paper cup which you will keep with you and reuse in the event of wanting another cup of tea or coffee.

We plan on making your day as positive as possible but with all the safety procedures in place. We will also have plenty of hand sanitizer and face masks if you require one.

We would be delighted if you could join us on Friday 27th of November for an event that focuses on human connection, listening and compassion as well as assisting you with professionally fitted bras by our Bra Fitting Specialists, and we will supply you with underwear and toiletries.

Support The Girls Australia is an Australian born charity committed to creating a platform that changes the hearts of its women, by burning away the prejudices of homelessness, enabling women to rediscover their merits, reinstate their creative capacity, exalt their dignity, enable their motives and transform their relationships between themselves and their respective community. Our aim is to provide a grassroots framework of action to empower women to escape the cycle of poverty, violence, trauma or multiple structural oppression's. Transformation of the individual and transformation of the community unfold simultaneously. Spaces are created for women from all walks of life to foster relationships with other women in the community regardless of income, creed, age, or cultural background.

We will have multiple services on board. These services are to help make you feel special and to give you some much needed pampering.

Our events are open to any women, or persons that identify as a woman (and those with children). Our events are for anyone in need.

We do reserve the right to refuse entry to any person or persons that we deem could impact the well being of our "friends" or the event. If you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or not dressed appropriately we can refuse entry.

We are aware that some people have anxiety or special needs. Please let us know via Eventbrite how best we can cater to your needs. Your safety and well being is always our first priority.

Complimentary Tea and Coffee with refreshments will be served.

Reserving your fitting is essential to ensure that we can cater for everyone.

Your safety: Please be aware that we do have one specifically allocated photographer on the day but if you do not want your photograph taken, we do provide you with a wrist band that is a safety indicator for the photographer. This ensures your picture is not taken.
