Support Group for People Caring for Someone with Down Syndrome (online)

Wellways Carer Gateway is pleased to invite you to participate in our online Carer Support group for People Caring for Someone Living with Down Syndrome. These sessions will be held online, so join from the comfort of your own home!

Our In-Person Peer Support program is delivered over 8 sessions and is designed as an opportunity for you to make new connections with other carers and learn something new. Topics and activities will be chosen by you and the other carers in your group, including yoga, meditation, artistic activities, and presentations from guest speakers, including advocacy programs and other services.

Sessions will be held weekly on Mondays starting from 12th January, 2026. Carers are encouraged to attend all sessions to get the most out of the experience. Sessions will be held online via Microsoft Teams - please contact us if you require assistance with getting connected.

Please note: This event is open to residents living in Queensland and South-Western Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains regions in NSW, Australia only. Participants must also be registered with Carer Gateway (we can assist with new registrations for eligible participants).
