Supercell: Yoga for Dancers with Courtney Scheu
A combination of Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, this class will focus on the benefits of practising yoga to support the body and mind for a sustainable dance practice. We will start slow to give the body time to warm up and then get moving through an active flow. Targeting Asana (or poses) that aids dance practice, this class will incorporate upper body strengthening, balances and general mobilisation. Yoga in the morning is a delightful way to warm up and give your body some love.
This is a general level class so some experience in moving your body would be useful. Bring a mat (or towel), water and wear clothes that are comfortable to move in!
Duration: 1.5 hrs
