'LOOK UP AND LIVE' POWERLINE SAFETY
SWMS and current WHS requirements for Commercial sites
An average of 750 accidental contacts occur with powerlines every year in Queensland. These accidents are avoidable and mainly occur due to a lack of planning and awareness of the powerline hazard.
Join us at our next Commercial Builders forum on Tuesday, 16 February as we bring together the safety experts to discuss powerline safety.
Glen Cook from Ergon Energy/Energex will raise your awareness of powerline hazards and risks. Glen will discuss the control measures that need to be in place for businesses to keep their workers safe and be legislatively compliant.
We'll also be joined by Craig Hutton from GCG Health Safety & Hygiene. Craig will run through ensuring you have the correct Workplace Health and Safety documentation on site, and provide up-to-date information on current Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
