Sunrise Lighthouse Tour and Coastal Walk at Aireys Inlet

Join us for this unique opportunity to visit Split Point Lighthouse for sunrise. Learn about the maritime history, lighthouse operation and find out how the lighthouse was used in the filming of children’s TV series Round the Twist and Masterchef. Participants are guided from the bottom of the Lighthouse precinct, through the heathland to the lighthouse, then into the lighthouse itself and out onto the balcony (weather permitting) for spectacular views of the sunrise. Appreciate the coast from a different perspective, while learn about the natural and cultural features of the coastal environment.

What to bring:

• sun protection (e.g. hats and sunscreen)
• weather protection (e.g. warm clothes/raincoats)
• insect protection
• Shoes that can get wet, e.g. old runners, Crocs, or wetsuit shoes/ booties (bare feet and thongs are not acceptable)
• water bottle

Age restrictions:

• Ages 5 and over
• A guardian must accompany children under the age of 16.
• Please be advised that every person attending this event (including adult accompanying child) must have a ticket to attend the event.

Cancellations: This event may be cancelled at short notice due to extreme weather conditions or changes in Victorian Government public health guidelines. You will be contacted if the event is cancelled. If your circumstances change and you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket so our guide knows and does not wait for you to arrive.
