Join us for an intimate musical affair at The Dock community hub
This session features:
“Jazz Party with Sugarfoot Ramblers”
Be transported to a 1920’s style jazz age garden party and hear original boogie, trad jazz and Dixie with The Sugarfoot Ramblers. Band members Travis Woods (trumpet), James Macaulay (trombone), Jon Hunt (clarinet), Matt Hayes (banjo), Jono Brown (bass) and Daniel Berry (drums) are a group of young musicians from Melbourne who have studied and played contemporary jazz styles, but also share a love of traditional jazz. Expect sounds reminiscent of Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, Duke Ellington, Jelly Roll Morton, The Red Onions and The Hoodangers.
