This session - 'A Frency Christmas'
with La Nuit Blanche
In the Community Café
Melbourne-based, French-inspired ensemble La Nuit Blanche seeks to bring the French music they love to a modern Australian audience. Featuring the gypsy sounds of accordion and guitar, and the jazz brawn of saxophone and double bass, with purring jazz and pop vocals from leading lady Raleigh Williams. They have performed at the Paris to Provence festival on the SBS France stage, Melbourne’s official Bastille Day celebration at the State Library, French-Australian Chamber of Commerce (FACCI)’s Gala de Soirée and Stonington Jazz Festival. For Sunday Lounge at the Dock they will perform songs of the season from Europe plus favourites from Django Reinhardt, Camille and Charles Trenet….Oh la la, c’est si bon!
When & Where
Library at The Dock is Melbourne's first fully integrated community and cultural space, providing a place for local residents and Melbournians to create, explore, connect, learn and belong.
