About this event

You are invited to contribute to the Kimba Future Workforce and Training Plan, which will identify the current and future skill sets required in the DC Kimba area, with a particular focus on the skills required to maximise local opportunity and generate future growth in the region.

Feed in your ideas via a discussion and/or survey in a relaxed session over lunch.

Background

The plan seeks to highlight potential opportunities and constraints faced by residents, businesses and employers in seeking employment, training current/future employees and building local business capacity.

The District Council of Kimba has engaged Workforce BluePrint to deliver the plan, and Wendy Perry and Evelyn Pollard will be in town from Friday 8.5.21 – Wednesday 12.5.21, for the initial round of conversations. It involves a resident skills audit (via survey online or printed) as well as a survey of local businesses across industry sectors interviews, data collection and analysis through interviews and meetings.

Ideally, Wendy and Evelyn would like to meet as many people as possible, to complete the survey and feed your ideas into the project.

If you’d like to meet 1 on 1 with Wendy and Evelyn or have any questions, then please email wendy@workforceblueprint.com.au and we’ll make a time to chat.

All of this evidence and information will be used to understand local business capability and future workforce needs, gaps in skills, and training requirements to maximise local employment, opportunities.
