BUYING TICKETS: Please read the information on each ticket - the date on the ticket is the date of your camp.
RoboCamps is a robotics activity program held at Macquarie University for school ages K-12. This program is an exiting and engaging series of robotics based holiday and weekend camps. From Beginner to Advanced camps, from LEGO Mindstorms to faster, stronger and more challenging Matrix robotics, RoboCamps will take you from A-Z, creating a robotics pro in no time!
RoboCamps is part of the FIRST Robotics group - an organisation that works to support robotics programs for students all over the world. All profits from RoboCamps are re-invested in the program to support low-social economic comunities by providing mentors, resources and time for those less advantaged that many of us. For more information, please contact James McArthur: email@example.com
All facilitators and instructors are trained and are certified to work with children. We have adults supervising and running day-to-day operations. We also use studnts from Macquaire University's most prestigious robotics program for highschool students. These students are between year 7 and 12 at school and are some of the brightest robotic minds we know! They will be helping with technical robotic issues during the camp.
If your child is over the age of 16 in the Advanced camp, your child, whilst tought and minded within the RoboCamps room, may not be supervised at all times during lunch as they will be allowed to buy their own lunch and food from the campus hub. A RoboCamps facilitator will be near-by and at hand at all times. Your children will be given strict parameters.
If you have any inquiries, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call James McArthur on 0432 853 961
NOTE: The date of your event is the date on your tickets' name - the ticket gains you entry to ONE camp on the date provided on the ticket.
