Theatre & Performance Workshops
A unique opportunity for young people aged 8-18 to expand their skills and express their creativity in the realm of performing arts.
With options including puppetry, masked theatre, costume design, devised theatre and comedy, Ballarat Performing Arts Community will be humming with vibrant creative energy over 2 weeks in January 2026.
All materials and equipment are provided, and the week-long devised theatre workshop includes lunch, snacks and drinks for participants.

How do you want to get there?
Puppet Workshop for ages 8-12 years, 6 January
Make a hand, shadow or rod puppet and learn how to bring it to life! At the end of the session you can record a short video of your puppet in action. This session makes use of new and recycled materials, and all materials and tools are provided. If you have something you want to use, please bring it along. Drinks and snacks are provided, but please bring your own lunch. Cost is $65 per person.
