Summer Holidays | Sculpture and Clay workshop
Event Information
About this Event
Create and take home your own painted animal sculpture or figurine made from clay, glass jars, foam balls and mixed media in this fun, creative, problem-solving workshop with arts educator Elaine Butler of Fun Time Art.
In the morning session, create and paint your own snail sculpture combining clay sculpting and glass jar painting, while learning about Surrealist master Salvador Dali’s iconic Snail sculpture and the way Dali used symbolism in his art.
For the afternoon workshop, budding artists use clay, paint and mixed media to create a sculpture of their favourite animal, learning how to use their creative skills to problem-solve and create an artwork from scratch, with the guidance of experienced children’s art educator Elaine Butler.
