Event Information
About this event
Higglety Pigglety Pop!
Jennie, a sealyham terrier, lives a comfortable life. However, she feels that she lacks something and sets out on an adventure in the middle of the night that will change her life drastically. Higglety Pigglety Pop! follows Jennie's surreal, suspenseful and unexpectedly moving journey to gain new experiences and realize her dream of becoming the star of the World Mother Goose Theatre.
Higglety Pigglety Pop! is an adaptation of Maurice Sendak's book from filmmakers Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski (Oscar nominees and Genie Award winners for Madame Tutli-Putli), featuring the voices of Meryl Streep and Forest Whitaker.
Rated G.
A Cat in Paris
Zoe, a little girl living in Paris, gets involved with a group of gangsters and it's up to her cat Dino to come to her rescue. Dino leads a double life, living with Zoe and her mother by day, and working with the burglar Nico by night.
In this unique, internationally heralded throwback to the traditional art form, every cell of the film has been hand-painted with a stunning & vibrant palette that mirrors the magic and whimsy of the city of lights, as does the cool retro jazz soundtrack. A CAT IN PARIS will enchant fans of felines, animation, mystery and adventure, young and old.
Rated PG.
