Description
The Summer Coding Club teaches students aged 11 to 15 years the basics of computer programming within the programming language of Python. Python is a general purpose programming language that was first created by Guido Van Rossum in 1991 and is a suitable language to form basic knowledge of computer programming, especially for beginners.
Computer programming is the trade of the future. All technologically advanced machinery needs some sort of software to run hardware, so hence it is benificial to have some knowledge of computer programming for any maintenence or repairs. Consequentially it will soon become part of the regular curriculum in schools to learn basic computer programming as all modern technology is moving to be based off of code. To start off a student in computer programming at the young age is a wonderous leg up in today's modern society.
There is a $35 cost to attend.
All Participants will receive a certificate of participation.
