The Adventure Project Weekender is unique wellbeing retreat designed to help you reconnect with your body and mind, explore the best natural wonders the NSW South Coast has to offer and challenge the boundaries of what you believe you can achieve both physically and mentally in a fun, supportive, group environment with expert guidance.

Room prices are per person and include two nights accommodation, gourmet vegetarian meals from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch and professional instruction in fitness, yoga and meditation.

What can you expect at The Adventure Project Weekender?

The schedule is flexible (just like you, right?!) but will flow around an outline similar to the below: 


- 4pm - Arrival and Check in 

- 5pm - Welcome adventure session followed by dinner

- Evening meditation and intention setting 


- 6am - Early start for a morning adventure!

- Breakfast

- 10am - Morning session - outdoor fitness

- 12pm - Lunch

- Free time/beach time after lunch

- 4pm - Afternoon yoga session

- 7pm - Dinner

- Guided meditation


- 7am - Morning meditation and yoga practice (at the beach weather permitting!)

- Breakfast

- 10am - Morning adventure training session

- 12pm - Lunch

- 2pm -  Departure for home


What are my transport options getting to the event?

Transportation is not included in the cost of the retreat. Bawley Bush Retreat is located approximately 2.5 hours form Canberra and 3.5 hours from Sydney. 

Unfortunately there are no direct public transport options available to the retreat centre. Car-pooling may be available. If you would like to offer or request a ride-share please email

Is the retreat suitable for beginners? What if I haven't done yoga before? What if I'm unfit?

The Adventure Project Weekender is a manageable entry point for you if you've have never practiced yoga before or don't have an active lifestyle... IF you're willing and open to learning and having a go! 'In the beginners mind there are many possibilities, in the expert's mind there are few'...

So if you're willing to come with an open mind, an all-clear from your medical professional that you're ok to undertake physical activity an and a positive, adventurous attitude towards trying something new, you will have a great time at The Adventure Project Weekender!

The physical activities can be taken at your own level of challenge, suitable to the circumstances of your body. There will be a range of movement and mindfulness styles practiced - all designed to get you back into healthy connection with your body, challenging your mental boundaries of possibility and treating yourself with kindness. 

If you're coming with a medical condition or an injury, please consult your healthcare provider for advice on whether Yoga and group exercise are suitable activities for you before you book.

Is it ok to come on my own?

Of course! We'd love to have you! 

You are welcome to come on your own and enjoy the opportunity to connect with other awsome like-minded adventurers! You will be placed in a room of your choice. There are limited numbers of rooms available so ensure you book now to avoid missing out.

Can I share a room with my friend/s or partner?


If you are coming as a group or with a partner you will all need to book one ticket each (per-person). It’s easiest to have one person book all of your required tickets at once.

Do you have payment plans?


If you would like to come but would prefer to pay in instalments, please contact us and we can work out a suitable payment plan for you.

Do you offer concession rates?

In certain circumstances, yes.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations with full refund are available up to 14 days prior to the retreat commencing. As the retreat centre and catering is confirmed 14 days before the event, no refunds are available for cancellation within 14 days or failure to attend the event.

Can I bring some beer or a bottle of wine to share with my friends? Is it ok to smoke?

No. This is an alcohol-free and smoke-free event.

Wild Sage Wellbeing and The Adventure Project Canberra

Luke Ardern is head trainer and creator of The Adventure Project Canberra.

Growing up on the NSW South Coast, Luke has always had a passion for the outdoors. With 10 plus years in the fitness industry, Luke has combined his love of playing outside with his talent for creating strong team environments through exciting, fun and functional group training with The Adventure Project Canberra (TAP). With a rotating roster of stunning outdoor training locations across the ACT, TAP helps the Canberra community explore the journey of health and fitness while enjoying the benefits of immersion in nature. 

Lachlan Campbell is Canberra-based Personal Trainer and Head Trainer at F45 Braddon.

Also hailing from the NSW South Coast , Lachlan's love for the ocean and outdoors started here. With a move to Canberra to study Physical Education, Lachlan has built a successful career in the Canberra fitness industry. Lach is known for his ability to create a postiive team training atmosphere and push people through their limits with a huge smile and contagious good vibes.

Ramone Bisset is head adventure planner and transformation leader at Wild Sage Wellbeing. 

Ramone is a movement and mindset educator with a strong case of wanderlust. With a focus on nurturing healthy movement, cultivating mindful self awareness and exploring the natural world, Ramone combines her extensive experience in yoga, meditation, healing and adventure travel to lead wellness retreats around the world.
