Description

Sue Goldman is a highly experienced Special Needs Teacher and Early Years Professional. She offers specialist support, advice and teaching for young autistic children, their families and educational settings. She has taught autistic children for over 20 years. She is trained and highly experienced in:

  • Attention Autism

  • TEACCH

  • Intensive Interaction Therapy

  • Makaton, AAC and picture-exchange systems

  • SCERTS

  • Autism Education Trust assessment framework

  • Team-Teach positive handling strategies

  • Paediatric First Aid

  • Safeguarding – I have an enhanced DBS certificate

Her professional qualifications include:

  • BA (Hons) Psychology

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Special Education: Autism (Children)

  • Early Years Professional Status (EYPS)

Sue will be speaking after the interAKtive AGM from 7pm.

Open to members and non members, parents, families, professionals and anyone with an interest in learning more about autism.
