Animation - Making Comics
How to make cartoons and robots is a 3 hour workshop on how to create cartoons and draw robots. Things we cover in class include: a study of the graphic novel and multi-panel story form, manipulating of shapes to add meaning and a dissection of what is humour. Materials will be supplied.
Audio - Electronic Music Production with ‘Ableton Live’
Ableton has quickly become the tool of choice for many modern music creators. This introductory lesson will introduce you to some of the basics of this amazing piece of software. This is the first step to creating your own EDM masterpieces.
Audio - Studio Production
Begin your audio career in one of our 11 recording studios, where you will learn the basics to recording from microphone techniques, using a large format console and recording and mixing a professional audio session.
Games - Make a Game in Unreal
This session will cover the basics of design, art, implementation, and scripting in the Unreal Engine.
Starting with a first person shooter template we'll examine how we can control the look and feel of the game and how to develop our own interactive levels.
Film - When the shooting stops…the editing begins
Understand the building blocks of the ‘invisible art’ of film editing. The creative and technical choices that lead to making a quality film, doco or TV ad. Presented by editor Strutts Psyridis.
Design - Ever wanted to make a poster or promotional material but been stumped as to HOW?
Study for a day! Come in and learn how to make stunning graphical imagery using professional software, just like the pros. Make a record sleeve or a promotional poster for your favourite band, or for yourself!
