Event description

Description

In this training workshop, Professor Jeremy T. Fox of Rice University introduces a class of structural econometric models for two-sided matching games that he created and applied in a series of papers that have been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Political Economy, American Economic Journal: Microeconomics, and Quantitative Economics. Applications of these methods apply to many problems in economics that include, but are not limited to, the matching of workers to firms, international trading partners, upstream suppliers to downstream sellers, marriage partners, spectrum licenses to telecommunications companies, or venture capitalists to startups.

All faculty and PhD students are welcome to attend all or any part of this one-day workshop.

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided. If you have any special requirements, please email: cmd-enquiries@unimelb.edu.au
