Celebrating connection and collective impact

For four decades, health consumers have used their voices to shape systems, policies, services, and programs. This online gathering is a chance to come together — wherever you are — to reflect on this shared history and look ahead to what’s next for lived experience and community engagement in health.

We’ll hear from some of the incredible people who’ve walked this journey with us, including members of the co-design team who helped shape our new Strategic Plan 2025–2030. We'll also share how possibilities are turning to reality in our new home at Deakin University's Institute for Health Transformation.

What to expect

This won’t be your typical one-sided webinar. Expect a joyful, interactive online gathering filled with stories, reflection, and connection.

Here’s what’s planned:

• Reflections and celebrations — recognising 40 years of collective leadership and advocacy in Victoria.

• Our next chapter — hear what’s in store for the year ahead as we begin to bring our new Strategic Plan 2025–2030 to life.

• Panel conversation — with members of our co-design team, sharing insights from developing the new strategy.

• Small-group connections — connect with others and share your perspectives on where we’ve come from and where we’re going.

• Optional networking — stay on for the final 30 minutes to connect informally and continue the conversation.

Health Voices Victoria is based at Deakin University's Institute for Health Tranformation and was previously called the Health Consumers Centre until Novemeber 2025.
