Description

Connecting Curriculums and age-appropriate pedagogies

Please join your local community network and the Transition, Innovation and Partnerships team for our ‘Strong Start Strong Learner clusters’.

The focus of the second cluster for this year will be gaining a deeper understanding of the curriculum between Early Childhood Education and Care and schools. We will be unpacking connections between the:

  • Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline

  • Early Years Learning Framework

  • Building Waterfalls (C & K)

  • Australian Curriculum

We will also be exploring age-appropriate pedagogies in the Early Years and the power pedagogy has in the way we deliver curriculum.

If you are an ECEC service or a school we strongly encourage you to invite each other to collaborate and build knowledge together in this space.

WHO: These cluster workshops are for interested early years educators, principals, deputy principals, master teachers, HOCs, coaches, teachers and those who form your early years teams.

Details: A light afternoon tea will be provided.
