It’s becoming apparent that young women are being held back from physical activity due to a number of barriers such as low confidence, and lack of time and energy. At Science of Fitness, we want to give young females evidence based tools to address these barriers head-on through showcasing exactly what a healthy relationship with exercise involves.
This workshop style event will include an educational component on the role of exercise in young females mental and physical health, followed by an exercise class led by one of our Accredited Exercise Physiologists, Gabi. So, wear something you are comfortable moving in. Parents are welcome and encouraged to stay for the duration of the workshop. If you are unable to make it in-person, an online option will be available.
Instead of exercise being something overwhelming and intimidating, young females at this event will walk away with the knowledge and confidence to take control and make informed decisions when it comes to their own health and wellbeing, in order to set themselves up for a bright, happy and healthy future.
