Do you suffer from headaches, upset stomach, heart palpitations, fatigue, restlessness, or excessive sweating associated with anxiety? Do worry thoughts sometimes keep you awake at night?

It's that crazy time of year again? Deadlines, meetings, exams end of year productions and Xmas cheer ... retail stores magically transforming into festive wonderlands—stocked with endless gifts and "savings" galore . . . and t.v. commercials full of everything merry and bright.

Yep, the holidays are upon us! And the anxiety that comes with the pressure of needing to get so much stuff done at work and home. Daily health care diciplines fall off the to do list and your own health care is put aside!

STOP! Its time to get your priorities in order, there is a real and insidious cost to compromising your own need to self care, regardless of what else is going on in your life. This is NOT a dress rehearsal!

Intervention and prevention is my gig and i take it very seriously. Join us on Sunday morning Dec 3 and learn how to decompress, defrag and soothe and re-boot your stressed nervous system.

Why is this important? Because when things aren’t going your way, it seems easier for us all to focus on the anxiety and stress and this shuts down the left prefrontal cortex part of your brain (that's the genius part).

The result of restricted access to your prefrontal cortex is an inability to remain cool, calm, and collected and with that, your problem solving skills go down the drain . . .

And so . . . there goes your ability to remain relaxed and patient is considering healthy productive solutions to obstacles you may encounter (eg being interrupted when talking, not getting the answers you want, your computer freezes, the person your calling is constantly engaged, you left home without breakfast, lost your phone, waiting in an endless line at the grocery store, unsightly freeway traffic, unfavorable family dynamics etc etc ).

So, whenever you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or uncomfortable it is time to connect in with yourself and that is what we will guide, and support you to do in a fresh new way.

You will discover with our support how to calm your nervous system enough to reactivate the prefrontal cortex. By doing so you will restore your ability to function with ease and that could be in any situation or environment you find yourself in eg while sitting at your desk, driving your car and dealing with traffic, having a difficult conversation with someone, lying awake at night unable to sleep, rushing to pick kids up from school, needing to be patient with a loved one and the list goes on.

Whatever your environment we will teach you how to soothe and settle those unpleasant symptoms, which we believe is your intelligent body's language to call your attention to something that is not working for you. We call it listening to the feather whispers and not waiting for a mack truck to hit.

She is an experienced Physiotherapist and Feldenkrais Practitioner, and an avid inquirer of cutting edge brain science research into neuroplasticity and physiology.

Sandy uses the science of improving cellular health from both the top down and the bottom up. Her practical and educational tools work to improve the function of your inner systems (tissue cells and blood vessels, immune system, endocrine system, muscular system, digestive system, and ultimately the nervous system).
