Wed. 26 July 2017, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Presenter: Marie McLeod - Director PoPsy
With 40% of Australian children describing themselves as “being worried too much” and 31% as “very stressed”, prioritising wellbeing is more critical than ever. Researchers have found that parents can have a positive impact on children’s stress levels and play an important role in helping to cultivate wellbeing and build coping strategies.
In this session, parents learn how to:
Identify, use and cultivate strengths in themselves and their children
Harness the power of positive emotions
Unlock the magic mindsets for success
Use and teach tested strategies to manage stress
Learn why relating to others is the most important thing children do
Create goals and positive habits to embed what has been learnt
Please note: the presentation begins at 7pm sharp.
