Session Two
What’s on the 2021 horizon – Industrial Relations Update
As managers, leaders and business owners who employ and manage staff, it’s important to ensure you keep up to date with the ever-changing Industrial Relations and Workplace Relations landscape. With the upcoming proposed changes to the Fair Work Act 2009, constantly changing Modern Awards and the Fair Work Ombudsman scrutiny on underpayment of wages and employment conditions – its critical you meet your obligations as an employer.
Rest assured we’ve got your back! This session will provide you with a critical overview of the Fair Work Act proposed changes, including proposed definition to casual employment, Award flexibilities, Enterprise Bargaining Reforms and compliance and enforcement. We will provide you with some tips on important compliance aspects you need to know in accordance with the Fair Work Ombudsman 2021 priorities.
Presented by our resident experts - Lauren Krollig and Kathryn Rees
Session Three
It’s 2021, and digital is king. With newspapers online and scrolling social media during TV commercials is the norm, it’s no wonder brands and businesses are abandoning traditional forms of media and seeking fresh ways of presenting themselves online.
From Google Search, to Facebook Marketing and exploring how new players like TikTok can help sell products and services, this workshop will provoke thought, creativity and assist in generating new ideas that get more customers, more often, spending more.
Presented by Anthony Caldwell, Social & Digital Marketing Specialist, Business SA.
Session Four
This thought-provoking session is aimed at generating ideas and challenging assumptions for business owners to realise their organisations performance and growth goals. You will have the opportunity to hear how other businesses across a variety of industry sectors are navigating the current challenges as well as learning what services are available to support you through the Entrepreneurs’ Programme.
