Streatside @ The Met is on again this Saturday April 24th with a great lineup of free live music, a 5-page bar menu, delicious food trucks and a new pop-up ethical store and art gallery.
Just like a relaxing picnic in the park, but you don't have to bring anything, with umbrellas, picnic rugs and lawn games all supplied.
On stage at 6pm we have Californian roots artist Manoa with his 3-piece band including sax and percussion, weaving uplifting reggae grooves that inspire audiences to move and soothing folk melodies that calm the mind and inspire a contemplative flow.
First up at 3:30pm is local duo Little Mountain playing music that spans from indie/alternative folk to ambient and melodic pop/rock, with the pair's song writing being heavily influenced by bands such as Fleetwood Mac, Paul Kelly, Boy & Bear and Middle Kids.
The bar will be serving an amazing range of drinks from sustainable and vegan suppliers, including a delicious selection of cocktails and mocktails, wine from Unico Zelo and Harvest, beer from Terella, Brewdog, Stomping Ground, spirits from Applewood Distillery and Natural Distilling Co. and a great selection cider, kombucha and other non-alcoholic beverages.
New boutique pop-up store, Shoppe Lightly, will feature a carefully selected range of vegan and environmentally or socially responsible clothing, skincare and accessories. Our feature artist in the store this week is Brisbane-based Thea Skelsey, with her beautiful hand painted material creations.
Columbian Coffee Co. is also open next to the Bar to meet your afternoon caffeine needs.

This is a family friendly, all-ages event, but ID must be presented at the door to receive an 18+ wrist band for the bar.
The Metropolitan is located on the corner of First Ave and South Sea Islander Way, Maroochydore. Free parking is available close by.
