Storytime is a free 30 minute session which includes stories, rhymes and action songs. Sessions are aimed at pre-schoolers aged 2-5 years. Reading is a free and fun family activity, sharing books with your child helps develop their listening, memory and language skills.

As this program is currently modified to meet public gathering restrictions, we have limited spaces available.

We ask that you please register here, or call your local library if you need help making a booking. If you are no longer able to make an event, please let us know so that others don’t miss out.

Visitors to Libraries Tasmania sites must follow these COVID-19 safety measures:

• Only enter if you’re feeling well
• Wear a face mask if you are 12 years or over, unless you have a valid medical exemption
• Wash and sanitise your hands frequently
• Maintain physical distance of 1.5 metres between adults
• Check in using the Check-In Tas app.
• We continue to strongly recommend COVID-19 vaccination for all visitors 5 years and over.
