When & Where
Strathbogie Voices is a community initiative that aims to link the community to government and agency decision-making processes in the Shire of Strathbogie.
Strathbogie Voices will be positive, strategic and proactive in how it sources information and needs from the community. It will provide an opportunity for the Shire of Strathbogie community to express their vision for their area, their needs, their priorities issues and their suggestions on building community and government/agency relationships.
Strathbogie Voices will encourage people to be forward-thinking, collaborative in their initiatives and vocal in their views.
What do you value about your area? What are the priority issues that need attention? How can our various communities throughout the region work better together? What can government or agencies do to assist? Strathbogie Voices will facilitate ‘round-table’ discussions throughout the region to get the community talking. A Community Prospectus for our region will then be drafted up and presented to various politicians and agencies in key decision-making roles.
