Event description

Description

Join us for an evening of storytelling with GSA on Wednesday 25 October! The theme for the evening is “Public/Personal” – featuring real stories that relate the general, universal and public to the intimate, personal, and private.

We want to hear about the places, people, and circumstances that evoke the divide between self and other within our collective yet solitary journeys. Come tell us a story about the time you felt connected to or alienated from something… or your experiences of working in or with the public sector… or a time you felt uncomfortable in public… or how you reconcile your personal identity and beliefs with external expectations and pressures. Or just come listen! Catering and drinks will be available for a limited number registered attendees.

Facilitator

Shawn Zhang is a University of Melbourne Master of Public Policy and Management student and an aspiring cat owner. He has no real major life achievement to date, but he’s trying.

If you have any enquires, address them to: swxzhang@gmail.com.
