About this event

For children 2 to 5 years.

This program will take place in the Children's Space.

****Please ensure a ticket is booked for every person attending including adults and accompanying siblings.

Books, songs, rhymes and puppets abound at story time. Carefully designed to educate and entertain children, story times are a special time to spend with your child and a wonderful way to foster early literacy.

After the session you are encouraged to stay and meet with other local families as children engage in sensory play and gross motor activities.  Don't forget to collect a take-home activity pack to continue the learning and playing at home.

Please note: Attendees will be required to practice appropriate physical distancing for the duration of the event. Do not attend if you have any flu-like symptoms.

Prams are not permitted within the children’s space during children’s programming to ensure clear access to entries and exits in case of an emergency. Exceptions can be made due to special circumstances including additional needs, a sleeping child or multiples. If you choose to bring your pram to the library please park in the designated area under the stairs next to the return room at the Library and Museum main entrance.

The area is not supervised and prams are parked at your own risk. The City is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property stored at the Belmont Hub.

To enable a safe, enjoyable experience at our library events children aged 11 and under must be supervised at all times by a parent, guardian or carer.

Telephone Ruth Faulkner Public Library on 9477 7150 and ask for assistance if you do not have an email address.
