Still in my mind: Gurindji location, experience and visuality

Speakers: Brenda L Croft, Felicity Meakins, Leah Leaman, Maurie Ryan Japarta, Lea Gardam and Jared Thomas (MC)

Hear from artists, academic educators and researchers, Gurindji-associated community members and other contributors to the Still in my mind exhibition. This wide-ranging conversation will explore the role of institutional archives in the development of the exhibition, as well as touching on the contributions of individual artists.

2019 NT NAIDOC Artist of the Year and Gurindji-associated community member Les Huddleston will commence the panel discussion with a yidaki performance, starting at 12:45pm.

Still in my mind and Kondoli programs at the South Australian Museum are presented as part of Tarnanthi: Festival of Contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art.

Tarnanthi is presented by the Art Gallery of South Australia in partnership with BHP and with the support of the Government of South Australia.
