Date: 18 February 2019 at 5:30pm – 7:00pm
Sponsor & Venue: Rigby Cooke Lawyers, Level 11 - 360 Elizabeth St, Melbourne, Victoria
Presenters: David Sanders, Barrister
Topic: Death and the Internet - Estate planning Tricks and Traps
In a world where technology and day to day life have become one, it is important, now more than ever, to consider how technology and more particularly the internet impacts a “Will” and more generally estate planning.
Planning for death and incapacity has continued to become more complicated over the years especially as our lives and circumstances become more complex, online music accounts, crypto currencies and even the simple second or third marriage.
David will endeavour to unravel some of the issues faced by our clients and will discuss some possible solutions.
