Short course: 11.9 kms +/- 80 mtrs OR Long course: 18.7 kms +/- 160 mtrs
This race is the flattest of all races in the series, which may ease the newer trail runner in gently. However, be prepared for single track, a few rock/boulder sections, and loose sand. The short and long course follow the same course for several kilometres, until the long course racers deviate in order to get their 7 km bonus in an out-and-back section. Here, there will be good opportunity to check out how far ahead or behind your competition is and cheer on fellow runners.
Courses will be well flagged - and marshalled at a few key intersections. We will do our best to keep you on course, but it is your responsibility to keep aware of the flagging.
