Description

Determined to get to uni?

The Special Tertiary Admissions Test is a great opportunity to gain entry to university... yet the 2-hour Multichoice test can be challenging. Attend this workshop to discover practical strategies to maximise your performance on STAT Multichoice... and your future university exams.

Find out more about the STAT and your application at VTAC.

Maximise your performance on STAT

Perhaps you haven't sat an aptitude test in years, or perhaps you simply want to achieve your best STAT result. If you've been warned you cannot prepare for STAT, think again. That's like being given advice not to train for a marathon.

STAT is not a common test. You can rehearse and improve your reasoning and comprehension skills, your approach to the test, and your performance under test conditions. That's called learning!

Attend this full-day workshop to discover:

• The best learning and performance mindset for STAT success
• What STAT tests and how institutions use your result
• STAT exam logic and how to recognise 'hints' within questions
• STAT-specific time techniques, such as the 10-min cue
• Problem-solving strategies designed for the STAT Quantitative questions
• Reasoning strategies designed for the STAT Verbal questions
• How to perform under STAT conditions
• How to avoid the most common errors

STATprep covers every aspect of the STAT Multichoice and includes a short practice test - a great way to implement and practice what has been covered. You'll leave with a valuable collection of resources, sample questions with answers, including detailed explanations to help you continue your preparation.

Tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit are provided for morning and afternoon tea.
