Event description

Description

“We live in an era of self-driving cars, robotic vacuum cleaners, and ever more autonomous drones. That’s because innovation comes relatively quickly and cheaply nowadays” - Dmitry Grishin, Grishin Robotics.

According to a report published by International Data Corporation in 2016, the worldwide spending on robotics and related services will likely hit $135.4 billion in 2019. With funding for new startups almost likely to continue upward spiralling in the coming years, will 2018 be a good year to launch a robotics startup or is it already too late to capitalize on the trend? What essentials do new startups need to know?

Join our panel of experts as they share insights on what it takes to be successful. Learn how to build great companies, overcome critical challenges, how to create a breakthrough product, raising initial capital and more!

Presented by SGInnovate, the Startup Stories Medical Robotics Panel discussion will share valuable lessons, pain points, success stories and what it takes to go from research to commercialisation. Science fiction is becoming reality as the emerging tsunami of robotics and automation reaches through all lines of business and commerce and society. We’re at an inflection point now and things are about to get interesting!
