⚡️What does it take to be an entrepreneur? Do you have a startup idea? Maybe you just want to know what all the buzz is about. ⚡️

SPARK Deakin has put together a workshop series specifically for Deakin students to teach the skills of successful entrepreneurs and to provide key tools to make your startup ideas a reality.

Over five weeks SPARK Deakin will present five FREE workshops in Trimester 2 at the Burwood campus. Students can register for one, two or all five workshops. Select and register for each day you would like to attend as there are limited spots available.

Don't worry if you missed the other workshops, you can still join us for workshop #4!

How to Pitch

Pitching is a crucial element to getting a startup successfully off the ground. Guest speaker Rachael Yang from Impact Investing will show students how to pitch their idea to gain the interests of investors, potential customers and stakeholders to support you on your journey.

Rachel is the Investment Manager at Giant Leap, a venture capital fund dedicated to investing in rapidly scalable, early stage businesses that fuse profit and purpose across three impact themes: health and wellbeing, sustainable living and empowering people. Giant Leap is backed by the Impact Investment Group, a leading Australian funds manager whose mission is to shift capital towards impact investments.
