FAQ’s

I don’t have a pitch ready, can I still attend?

Yes. You don't have to have a pitch written to attend- heck, you don't even have to have a company or be a start-up. So yes, you can still attend.

I’m not an entrepreneur, but this sounds really fun. Can I still attend?

Of course! We would love to have anyone who is interested in learning to speak and feel comfortable on stage for whatever reason.

Who is this suitable for?

Both beginners who have never delivered a pitch before, as well as those seasoned professionals who are regulary at the front of the stage, will get a lot out of this workshop.

Will I write my pitch over the course of the day?

No, this workshop is not about writing a pitch, but more about the delivery. You will learn hints about how to structure an engaging pitch but we will not be writing one over the course of the day.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

As a public speaking coach, I fuse my indepth knowledge of public speaking, performance and psychology in a hands-on workshop. My main objective is to give start-up pitch-ers the tools and tricks to be confident in their communication from the stage. I know how debilitating it can be to be scared of the stage, and how this can completely derail a pitch. If start-ups can get the performance element right, and structure impromptu responses, then they can really let their ideas shine. I am passionate about innovation, social entrepreneurship and helping new ideas getting a leg up. Using my unique expertise, I have the ability to assist in this process, and participants will come away feeling confident, in control and excited to get up and present pitch to investors as soon as they possibly can.
