Event description

Bedrock Projects is excited to launch our very first Central Coast Workshop! And to celebrate, we have a hugely reduced ticket price with stacks of inclusions. Read on!

Start Me Up is a Business Development Workshop aimed at those with a burning idea they want to pursue, or those in the very early stages of a Start-up.

In just over 3.5hrs, our presenters will cover:

  • Business Viability

  • Survival Skills

  • Navigating the Red Tape

  • Business Image Clarity

  • The Role of Emotion in Creating your Brand

  • Doing it Your Way.

They'll show you:

    • How to test the viability of your business idea

    • How to choose a business structure, set up a business, and protect your IP

    • How to give your business the best chance of survival

    • What branding you actually need at the beginning of your business journey

    • How to connect with your target market

    • How to use all this information to do it your way

  • An information packed workshop by two skilled presenters

  • A deliciously Instagramable morning tea by our showcase entrepreneur

  • An opportunity for FREE headshots by Photographic Events (or $50 for those who'd like some professional re-touching)

  • A bundle of goodies including 2 newly released books by our presenters (signed of course)

PRICE: Just $47 for over $200 worth of value. Tickets are transferrable, so consider purchasing one as a gift.

Photographic Events will be filming and taking photos of the workshop. While the focus will be on the presenters, ticket purchase includes your consent for Bedrock Projects to use images taken on the day to promote their speakers and future events. So just dress comfortably, but you might like to take advantage of having a photographer on site and grab some free head shots.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Venue is in North Loop Road on the Ourimbah campus of the University of Newcastle. It is the Business Incubator Building (run by Regional Development Australia CC) and although it has a small parking lot nearby, it is for permit holders only. Attendees should park in the main university carpark at the front of the Uni.

Ourimbah is the closest railway station, and buses do come thrugh the University grounds.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

The best point of contact is by messenger through the Bedrock Projects facebook page.

If you aren't a facebook user, you can email Georgia Thomas at gthomas@legalhq18.com.au

What's the refund policy?

A full refund (excluding third party fees) can be made within 24hrs of your booking by messaging Bedrock Projects via their facebook page.

Refunds in March & April will incur a 25% processing fee.

Refunds in May (being 7 days prior to the event) will not be issued. By this stage we have committed to catering and venue costs and have a limited opportunity to fill your spot in the workshop. However, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else, by emailing their details to gthomas@legalhq18.com.au

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Bringing your ticket will be helpful, but not necessary.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes. We understand that plans change. If you become unavailable to attend, you can obtain a limited refund or transfer your ticket to someone else. We ask that you inform us of the change by messaging via the Bedrock Projects page or emailing Georgia Thomas on gthomas@legalhq18.com.au

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Absolutely. Our workshops make a great gift, so you are welcome to purchase on someone elses behalf and just let us know their contact details. We usually send a pre-attendance checklist to make sure we tailor our workshops wherever possible, so it's important that reaches the correct person. Message via the Bedrock Projects facebook page or email Georgia Thomas on gthomas@legalhq18.com.au to let us know who will be attending.
