Event Details

Children attending this program must be aged 7 to 16 due to the content and level of skills required

Are you a Rebel or a Strom Trooper? Ever dreamed of taking a photo with your favourite Star Wars characters? Come along to Star Wars Reads Day at Gungahlin library for a lot of fun for the whole family, including the dramatic read of a Star Wars story and a cosplay competition. To enter the competition, all costumes must be homemade and the use of recycled material is encouraged. Talk to your librarian for ideas. The Force is strong in Libraries!


Bookings essential.

 Please note:

  • Bookings are essential. Bookings are only necessary for the children participating in the activity. We are unable to accommodate participants who have not made a booking.
  • Places are limited, please contact the library if you wish to amend or cancel your booking. This will enable others to participate in the program. 
  • Age ranges do apply. Children attending the program must be within the specified age range. The age limit is necessary and made due to required skill level / coordination for the activity.
  • Adult supervision is required for all children attending the program.
  • Please arrive 10 mins early to allow time to check in. This assists the program to run on schedule.
