Join the Winter Crew and the Brisbane Astronomical Society members as we gaze to the heavens.

This evening will be great as there is no bright moon to distract from searching the cosmos.

Can you find the Southern Cross? Do you know the closest galaxy to Earth? The closest star?

Light and warm refreshments will be served.

Please wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes.

16:00 Depart from St Lucia Campus

17:00 Arrival to Gatton for sunset, light refreshments

18:00 Star viewing commences

20:00 Wrap up and head home.
